Our neighbors on the Front Plaza – Serenata. We anxiously await their next CD, especially since we have all of the songs memorized. 73 days straight and we never get tired of hearing “Marcha!” They are the best! P.S. Those are the real hoola hoop experts in the foreground of this photo.

The Splash! Crew is enthralled with the Hoola Hoop contest. Sometimes they sneak over to the contest and try to win against the real experts (that’s you if you are under age 10 or so)! We can’t blame them for trying, but alas, no one in our Splash! crew has been able to win the contest yet. That’s Josiah and Mallory giving it a go.

For those fans who are wondering who does the opening voice over to the show, both in Spanish and English; here she is! Her name is Kate and she happens to be my niece. Kate started first grade in July and is in her second year of Spanish immersion school. She came over to the studio and did the voice over for me and James until it was perfect. What a little trooper! Thanks to Kate and her parents Ivy and Deven for allowing us to share her talents.
