One of the most popular animals we perform is the African Elephant. Did you know that elephants have the largest brain of any land mammal? An average elephant brain weighs in at 11 lbs! This makes them highly intelligent, on par with dolphins and primates.

Elephants have been documented doing many amazing things such as painting, recognizing themselves in a mirror, problem-solving and using tools. They also experience a range of complex emotions including grief, happiness, and even revenge!

Elephants remain an endangered species despite many years of conservation efforts from around the world. These efforts have improved their status in many areas, but more help is needed to ensure their long-term success in the wild.
