Fun Fact Friday

Who would win in a fight between  a meerkat and a poisonous snake?

Answer: A meerkat would win! Meerkats are known for their daring diet. They are able to kill and eat poisonous snakes and scorpions without being hurt, because they are immune to the venom. They eat poisonous scorpions by quickly biting off their stingers, and then eating the rest! Now that’s stinger-lickin’ good.

Fun Fact Friday – Lions

This one's for the Leos!

This one's for the Leos!

Today is all about Lions! The male is referred to as a lion or tom and the female is referred to as a lioness. The baby lion is a cub. Did you know that the lions are the only cats that live in groups, which are called prides? Prides are family units that may include up to three males, a dozen females, and their young. The females do most of the hunting and cub rearing, just like our families! Have a great weekend!
