Splash! Animals performed three paintings at the “Wild in the Country” Fundraiser on May 15. We auctioned off the paintings to help raise funds for this amazing rescue sanctuary.

Once again we are performing on both coasts.

Downtown Disney in California and Sugarloaf Festival in Hartford, Connecticut.

Downtown Disney shows: Friday evening shows: 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 pm; Saturday shows start at 5 p.m. and happen every hour until 10:00 p.m.

Sugarloaf Craft Festival shows: Four shows daily, starting at 11:00 a.m: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We would love to see you in the audience this weekend. We are on the East and West coasts simultaneously! Downtown Disney in California and Sugarloaf Festival at the Philly Expo Center.

2009 is the year of the Gorilla. Below is our Splash! Mountain Gorilla. Did you know that there are roughly 700 mountain gorillas remaining on Earth? This fragile population continues to face major threats from habitat loss and a recent increase in poaching. We need to help protect these endangered animals so we will not lose them. Remember, extinct means forever. What can you do to help?

Come see us! The stage will be located in front of the Rainforest Café. The Splash! Animals artists will deliver our signature high-energy painting performances involving Guests, music, beautiful animal paintings in just minutes, and our conservation message to help save these amazing animals.

Performance dates: August 28 & 29, 2009 (Friday & Saturday)
Performance times: 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM

Who would win in a fight between a meerkat and a poisonous snake?

Answer: A meerkat would win! Meerkats are known for their daring diet. They are able to kill and eat poisonous snakes and scorpions without being hurt, because they are immune to the venom. They eat poisonous scorpions by quickly biting off their stingers, and then eating the rest! Now that’s stinger-lickin’ good.
